Meet The Boys

Gelato Dolceria was started by two friends that have a passion for bringing a great ending to that perfect meal or just a casual night out with the kids.  Chef John Caiola has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years and with successful businesses under his belt he now brings you his true love of culinary: desserts. Chef John, a native New Yorker and has worked in every aspect of the culinary field.  After attending Johnson & Wales and working in major hotels in Manhattan he became the personal chef for Leona Helmsley.  Through the years he has also cooked for Bill Clinton, George Bush, Donald Trump, Alan Greenspan just to mention a few. John Is Married to Karen Caiola with two daughters Marissa and Hanna  His business partner, Miguel Paletta, brings his business sense and front of the house knowledge to Gelato Dolceria. Miguel's wife is Lori Paletta and also has two daughters Alexandra and Siera.  It is the dream of these two men that Gelato Dolceria will be a place where you come to relax, get a feel of being in a true Italian dessert shoppe, and think of as a destination that you will visit time after time, just like you are part of the family.
